Avocado is considered green gold in México and makes the best easy face mask. This fruit feels indulgent and is rich in vitamins and powerful antioxidants, making it perfect for skin and hair. In addition to vitamin E and C, avocado oil contains potassium, lecithin, and many other nutrients that can nourish, soften and hydrate the skin. The hydrating properties help regeneration, anti-aging and reduce redness and inflammation. If you’re short on ingredients, a plain mashed avocado will do the trick!   • 1 avocado

  • 1 squeeze of lemon juice (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt (optional)

  • ½ teaspoon of honey (optional)


Mash the avocado in a plate and put on the face skin, add lemon if it’s a face mask at night (do not use lemon during the day). Or mix mashed avocado with yogurt and honey and then leave on skin for 10-15 minutes.
