El Mercado, “The Market”

El Mercado, a contemporary heritage in a culture of gastronomic and artisanal riches.

A characteristic of the open-air market in Mexico is that it is a space where, in addition to commerce, there is conviviality, and enjoying an afternoon accompanied by the soft marimba music, while you walk through the market doing your shopping or just observing the stalls, it is inevitable to feel surrounded by the friendly atmosphere of Mexico, present in the designs of its pots and clay dishes or in the various handicrafts offered from the stalls of local artists.

The cultural and traditional diversity of Mexico is not only found in its dishes, the crafts are one of the favoritored attractions of many people: pottery, blankets, sombreros, blouses, folk art sculptures, silver, shawls and “guayabera” men’s shirts, are some of the items you can find in the market to remember your trip to Los Cabos.

It is essential to note that if you are looking for fresh products, this is your place to accompany your food with the perfect complement, or choose to start your morning with organic eggs for breakfast or a delicious dessert in the afternoon, if what you like is something fresh in the heat of summer, a shaved ice is a good choice, but what you mustn’t miss are the churros with dulce de leche or chocolate.

The market is an experience offered by Grand Solmar Land’s End Resort and Spa every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. You can’t miss it on your next stay!
